This is an interesting and surprisingly-comprehensive way of perceiving life, that imagines life as an MMORG- a Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game. Examples of such games include Runescape, World Of Warcraft, and Grand Theft Auto V, which thousands of people have spent thousands of hours playing. What if they thought of their lives as an MMORG? What if they gamified life?

Some attributes require upkeep atrophy over time if they're not continuously maintained, like strength and social skills. If you went We come into the game as infants, and many of ou
Character-Creation
We come into the game as infants, and many of our character settings are randomly chosen for us, including our class, race, sex, ability, time-period, house, country, and family. As well as hair colour, eye colour, etc. Character-creation the continuous process of editing one's character in terms of behaviour, demeanour, clothing-style, occupation, body modification, and more. Even our life story can be determined by us, if you believe in free will. For many people this process is largely unconscious, and for many others, changes are made consciously and often.
Clans
A clan is simply a group whose members identify as being part of that group. Other words for clan include tribe, squad, group, circle, clique, gang, and community. One's family is usually the first clan they join, but one will be a member of many clans, and it is recommended to find or create clans based on one's interests.
Clans can be joined or created for many purposes, and these purposes can overlap:
To improve a skill - piano club, an online public-speaking group,
For safety and camaraderie - joining a criminal gang,
To push an ideology - hate groups,
Communication - Body Language
Communication - Language
A language is an agreement between a large group of players that certain vocal noises mean different things, used to transmit certain information. These noises have written counterparts: words, which are groups of letters, which symbolise particular vocal noises. Vast systems of language ave been created by players before us. The language being used here is 'English', among the most used languages.
There are many languages, and the more of a language one learns, the better able they are to communicate with other players who speak the same language.
When players enter the world, they're usually surrounded by people who speak the same language, and that will be the language they learn. The language we learn is largely determined by our geographical location.
Death
Default beliefs around death include having 'one life', which means that experience will stop as soon as the body dies. This belief arises due to the belief that the brain creates consciousness. From this point of view, great care is taken to avoid death, since we enjoy experience and thus want to prolong it for as long as possible. One's beliefs around death dramatically control how they play the game of life. In environments that are dominated by SD Stage Red, human life is commonly seen to be almost worthless and
Many popular video games have a mode that set the player's lives to only one, which makes the game more fun due to the high stakes. For example, Minecrafts's 'hardcore mode'. It's interesting that there aren't any games which include being able to die in-game, which makes the game unplayable after one dies in-game. Imagine dying in GTA V once, for the first time after you bought the game, and the game goes blank forever, unable to be experienced again. If this was how it was, gamers would play it very cautiously and gameplay would focus much more on building skills and businesses, instead of dangerous criminal activities. If only there was a way of knowing the true nature of death without having to die.
Easter Eggs
Energy
Energy is important to accumulate because it increases our ability to learn, improve skills, and level up.
The ability to learn which things increase / decrease our energy is a skill that can be improved. And like all skills, the more energy we have, the better we can improve the skill.
Exploration
Viewing the world as a place to explore can benefit our character in many ways. The game world is absolutely vast- approximately 510.1 million km²- and ever-changing, so by the time we've walked around the entire Earth, everything behind us will have changed so much that it will be virtually new if we walked round again. On our second trip round the planet, we'd meet more people who we haven't met than we have met before, and see more things that we haven't seen before that we have seen before.
Game World
The game world is just another way to say the world, or the universe. Although things may sometimes seem still, the game world is in constant generation. The game world is infinitely large and small- we can zoom in or out of anything forever.

Levelling Up
Becoming more skilful at something requires the accumulation of experience. There are no real markers for when you've levelled ip unless you create them: you can set yourself clear objectives to reach, that if reached, will symbolise a level-up. For example, if the skill was playing the piano, you could say that you're level is currently 1 if you've just started. Continuing to achieve things at increasing levels of difficulty is a good sign that you're 'skill level' is increasing. Being able to do stuff you couldn't do before.
Experiences will occur that can more easily be viewed as opportunities to build different skills than others. For example, I was exploring a town last night while on a walk and found a small community of people who were having a party on a houseboat. A few people were outside and seemed to be pretty interesting but I walked on after a brief chat. That's an example of a situation that could have been used to build experience regarding many different skills; I could have built the Socialising skill but continuing to chat, which includes Listening, and Joking
Other Players
There are about 8 billion other players, all with whom we can interact and learn things from. Some can all give us side-quests, benefit us, or cause us to be lead astray.
Quests
A quest is a journey that someone goes on for some kind of reward. A quest is supposed to be challenging but many quests, such as NoFap for 90 days, will be worth it ten times over. We can decide whether to take up a quest, or we can be sent on one by someone (or something) else. We may start a quest after hearing about rewards that another player got.
Examples of quests include a 90-day break from an unhealthy habit, earning a million dollars, getting a good girlfriend / boyfriend, seeing all the 7 wonders of the world, going to every country,
Some quests are intangible and arguably have no real end-point, like learning how to play the piano.
The reward for some quests are tangible and others are intangible. An example of a tangible reward is a certain amount of money, and an example of an intangible reward is the confidence and oppurtunities that arise when one becomes adept in a new language.
Safe-Houses
Safe-houses, or 'homes' can be acquired with money, refusing to move out, or acquired illegally, or even build from scratch- which requires a high construction level. Safe-houses can be customised. They can come in many shapes and sizes.
Saving The Game
Journaling, reflecting on the day, can be thought of as the equivalent of saving your progress in the game.

Skill Points
One can improve a skill more with more energy. With a lot of energy one can learn a lot, but with little energy, one will tire and lose focus easily.
In the same way that it's wise to wish for more wishes when you've been granted only three, it's wise to spend skill points on learning how to generate energy, but when you've got the message- hang up the phone and go and improve the skills.
Here are some things to incorporate in order to ensure a constantly high supply of skill points to use each day.
Good sleep routine
I recommend 6AM as one's wake time and 10PM as one's sleep time. Make sure to prepare the mind before bed. I turn my WiFi off at 8PM, then read for an hour, then meditate for an hour after that.
Whole food diet + fasting
Software
Each unique scene requires a unique configuration of software for it to appear a certain way. The game world (the Universe) is not really separated into different scenes, but it seems that way from the point of view of the players. They are under instruction of software to believe that all they are is the human body / mind. The more a character in a video game learns about how the developer created the game, the more enlightened they get. Most players are completely unaware that there is even a game developer, just as characters in a movie are usually unaware of the director. It's a unique kind of interesting when a movie character breaks the fourth wall. In the same way that it can feel dissonant when a movie character breaks the fourth wall and breaks the viewer's belief in the reality of the movie's story, it can be annoying when a person in real life tries to tell us about enlightenment.
To say that the entire game world is software aligns with ancient spiritual and modern scientific assertions that the substance of the reality is mind. Human thought is software within software, instructing the human organism how to be. The ego is made out of that.
The belief in the hardness of hardware, and that there is hardware, is software. Software tells a computer what to do, and tells reality how to be, how to appear.
Human learning works, unsurprisingly, like machine-learning. Our habits are the result of learning what gets us what we want. If we have a bad habit, we must first learn what we truly want, then find a healthier way of getting it. The bliss that comes from sex, pizza, drugs, etc. is all the same, and can be experienced during meditation, which is the healthiest way of getting it.
The mind is software
