If the feeling of craving is allowed to run it’s course, and the feelings are allowed to be fully felt, one will end the day forgetting that they had not actually eaten unhealthy food that day, because the goal of dealing with the negative emotion has been achieved.
Many people eat unhealthy food in order to numb negative emotions, and I think we could prevent a lot of diseases, and government-spending if we promoted healthy-eating as best as we can.
