I have gotten to know a man who I used to think was prideful, before having spent an entire day with him.

It turns out that, given his birth into a wealthy family, he’s actually deeply humble, despite being super confident.

He comfortably takes centre stage during social occasions not because he’s arrogant, but because he’s simply confident. Having slept in his house with others of his mates, it’s easy to see why.

When we are wealthy, we simply don’t have to feel insecure or engage in any mentality akin to crabs in a bucket.

Despite often being rather forthright, he is actually a very kind individual.

The difference between pride snd security seems to be a matter of inner security: if I am insecure, I am prideful (arrogant), if I am secure within myself, I am simply confident and should continue to be despite anybody mistake it for arrogance.
